IF statement for only positive numbers. Driving me mad

    Hi All,

Having a mare with an IF statement.

Basically I only want the calculation to only show the positive number and display nothing if it's negative. I need more caffeine me thinks..

    =IF($AF$2-(AF8+AR8)<0,"",=,SUM($AF$2-(AF8+AR8)))

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks, Nick

You don't need SUM or the equals sign. Then just match the brackets.

Thanks, but getting an error still

    =IF($AF$2-(AF2+AR2)<0,"",$AF$2-(AF2+AR2))

Brackets match up, looks like it doesn't like ""

Works for me. Have you copied it or typed it? Do your Regional Settings require semi-colons instead of commas?
