Hi All,
How do I convert large 38 digit numbers from scientific notation to actual numbers in excel? Formulas don't seem to work for anything larger than 15 digits.
Thank you!

Formulas in Excel are also working with numbers with more than 15 digits, but it ignores the less significant digits (it calculates only with the 15 most significant digits)
Excel can also handle digits in scientific notation For Example 12,000,000,000,000,000,000 = 1.2E19. You don't need to convert 1.2E19

If you are trying to display the very large numbers in a cell, I am fairly certain that you will have to display them as text.
Example:

In Post #1 you asked to convert the numbers in such a way that these numbers could be calculated,
hence my answer that Excel can simply calculate with numbers of more than 15 digits and that no special conversion is required.
Now you ask if the numbers can also be shown in separate digits.
Yes, this is possible with the understanding that a 0 is shown from the 16th digit.
Just format as ###,###,###,#,#,###,##0 with enough #. Here is an example with 73 digits.
@HansDouwe, What do you mean when you say the OP is "Now you ask if the numbers can also be shown in separate digits."? I only see one post here currently from the OP?
Sry John, I thought your post was from the OP. I need to look closer.
