Formula to return value based on multiple variables (including date)

Hi, I hope somebody can help me.

I have a list of hours worked by staff within a set time period - these are listed by name, grade, date worked and hours worked. The time period spans both years 2022 and 2023.

I would like to obtain a total value of the hours worked for each individual (i.e., hours worked x hourly rate = total) but the hourly rate varies dependent upon an individual's grade and whether the works were undertaken with 2022 or 2023.

Is there a single formula which will look at both the grade of an individual and the date and return the correct hourly rate?
