A few more more clues please. What sheet? What formula. What formula? What is the formula meant to do? What error do you get?

Hi Trevor,
I attached the timesheet and paysheet. I'm trying to add the total regular time, total time, and double time. I keep getting spill errors. I appreciate your quick response to our thread. You have a wonderful day.TIME SHEET.xlsx
My initial response should have said: What sheet? What cell? What formula? What is the formula meant to do? What error do you get?
Basically, I don't know what formula you have that is giving you an error. I don't know what cell it should go in. And I don't know what sheet it's on. You take all this for granted because it is your workbook, worksheet(s) and data, and you know what you want to happen.
I've looked at both sheets and I don't see any errors. And no #SPILL! errors.
Whatever, I've filled in some numbers to test the sums, and they look ok. I've added formulae to copy the values from the time sheet to the pay sheet. And I've used a Custom Format ( [hh]:mm ) to present the totals correctly.
If this doesn't help, you'll need to upload a sample that does demonstrate the problems.
Hi TMS,

You're welcome. Thanks for the rep.
Just multiply the calculated hours to get a decimal value.

You have to multiply the hours by 24. So you formula in U15 (On "PAY SHEET") should be:
=S15*$R$14*24
Thank you for your help.
