    Change in price formula

This has thrown me for a loop. I hope I explain the problem well. I have 16 hours of price data F3 thru U3. Each price has a ratio based on the 16 hour average F2 thru U2. I break out the 16 hours into 3 separate blocks. Block 1 is the average of hours 7-9, block 2 is hours 10-17 and block 3 is hours 18-22. I want to adjust pricing based on the blocks in cell B4 for Block 1, C4 for block 2 and D4 for block 3. So for example if I make a change to block 1 in cell B and move it up $5 the other two blocks should move down to keep the original 16 hour average cell V3. So I need the hourly prices to move based on the ratio in row cells F2 thru U2. I attached my sheet that shows the data.

    Thank you,
    Alex

    Re: Change in price formula

Is the increase added in row 4 e.g. B4

And what is the starting rate as B3 (for example) is an average of F3:H3 [+ B4] so you are in a "circular Reference" situation.

F3 = 31.23 (hard-coded) is based on a value of 27.50 i.e. V3 (* 1.15) which itself is an average of F3:U3 so yet another "circular reference" situation.

You will (probably) need VBA to resolve this.

    Re: Change in price formula

Yes B4 is the change in price and B3 is the original price.
