Hi,
If cells E2:E5 have values can the filter formula in B10 filter the data based on the combination of the selection? This is on the Filtered_Movies sheet.
I have the filter working for cell E2 so when a selection is made from the drop down list then the data is filtered based on that selection.
I just don't know how to include cells E3:E5 in the filtering.
Does anyone know how to do this?

It seems that both formulas are filtering by OR rather than AND.
I see that "+" changed to "*" does that.
My formula is an And, not an Or. *=And whilst +=Or
If only one is selected say for instance an actor then it isn't showing all of the movies by that actor.
I have been playing with the symbols trying to cover all scenarios but so far not successful.

Can the filter range be conditionally formatted to have cell borders?
