On the Data_Validation sheet I am getting duplicates for the unique filter formula.

The one I looked at was America Ferrera. Two of them have an extra space at the end, the third does not, so it counts as two different unique entries. By the way they all have an extra space at the beginning, too.
Then I looked at Popplewell, same problem.
Needs some data cleanup.
That's also the reason that your conditional formatting rule for duplicates isn't finding any duplicates.
You could also solve it like this but honestly it is always better to have clean data to start with.

I tried using the TRIM formula for the data but it didn't work.
I will try again cleaning the data somehow.
I first used TRIM on the genre group then did text to columns.
Now I used TRIM on each individual Actor column and it removed the dead spaces.
So I used your trim formula and compared without the trim and get the same count.
