Formula:
=match(b2,'BI Reporting'!C:C,0))
Formula is being entered in the "SC Reporting" c2 cell of worksheet.
It will not display the results instead leaves the formula.
I checked formula option to Atumatic
I make column be in "General" or "Text" format.
I converted to Tables.
Nothing has worked. What am I doing wrong please.
Could be:
1. The cell is formatted as Text
2. There is a space in front of the equals sign
3. The option to show formula rather than calculated value is set

Just checked the file. Should have looked at the formula properly. You have an extra closing bracket.

I have removed the extra bracket with no luck as well as the other option you stated above. Still no luck.
I cut the formula, selected the column, set formatting to GENERAL and then reentered the formula. This is a glitch that happens from time to time.

The cell is formatted as text. Format as general, select the end of the formula and hit enter.

As Ali and Glenn have said, you need to change the format in the cell and then re-enter the formula.
