Sumif + Date Range + Lookup Value Problem

To the excel guru's as excel forum,

I have a small problem trying to combine sumif with xlookup to sum various amounts between a particular date range.

I did get very close to your solution but was missing one step.

I will be able to use this formula for a lot of things I do so Thank you again.
