Unsing a cell reference in MINIFS

Hi again Excel geniuses,

And once again I would be grateful for some help solving a frustrating little formula problem.

So I have a table of data (example attached):

In cell B2, I want to return the minimum number from Column C but only from those who have played the minimum number of games (Column A) referenced by Cell B1.

It works if I write the formula =MINIFS(C5:C92,A5:A92,">=8") but not if I write =MINIFS(C5:C92,A5:A92,">=B1")

I need to reference Cell B1 as the number will change so how is it done? I believe you can incorporate the FILTER function, but I can't work it out.
