I am trying to compute severance pay for employees whose contracts are to be terminated soon.. The pay out is based on length of service

I need a formula which can compute all in one cell....the length of service and entitlement

    Agnes 01/05/2017 30/06/2024 8,000 7 16,000
    Solomon 01/04/2021 30/06/2024 7,000 3 7,000
    Innocent 18/12/2023 30/06/2024 2,000 1 1,000

    Administrative Note:

Is your forum profile showing the Excel PRODUCT that you need this to work for?

Members will tailor the solutions they offer to the Office PRODUCT (Excel, NOT Windows) that you have. Please check that your forum profile is up-to-date in this respect. If you aren't sure, in Excel go to File | Account and report what it says below the MS logo at the top of that page. If your product is for Mac, please also state this.

The three most recent Excel products are Excel 2019, Excel 2021 and MS365 - if you are using MS365, please give this name along with the version number in your profile (e.g. MS365 Version 2306). This is in the About Excel section further down the Account page.

    Thanks.

    Re: Condition Formula

Another option if you don't have Office365...

PS: 2 weeks is NOT = 1/2 month. Please review and update cell E10 as correct for your situation.
