On Xcel, I have a cell with text
123 <abc> 4 5 6 <def> 78 9 <xYz> 10 1112 <zzz>
I want another cell to Xtract only the data between the <> from that cell to display.
How do I do that? ThanX everyone.

So, the rules of engagement have changed. Not two blocks but three. Will there be any more, or less?
Please upload a sample file with all variations of text. Before and after (expected results).
Fast answers need visual help. Please read the yellow banner at the top of this page on how to attach a file and a mocked up solution.

For text in cell A2, try:

Or you can use TEXTJOIN which makes it easier to add a delimiter, should you need to

2021 doesnt have TEXTBEFORE or TEXTAFTER.
I'm not sure what delimiter you wanted between the retrieved values, so I assumed a space (easily changed in first argument or TEXTJOIN). This formula assumes the text in the referenced cell (assumed to be A2) contains less than 300 characters and the there are no more than 6 possible values with angle brackets within the cell...

No - definitely not!

Well, to be fair, I hadn't realised the new functions in the 2021 list also include the new functions in the 2019 list (until I checked with Ali). But what you get when you buy 2019 or 2021 is static. The only way to get all the functional updates as and when they happen is to have a 365 subscription. Maybe when 2024 is released it will have everything that the current 365 version has but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Another way,
