I need the Excel formula that can display the number of representatives that each organization can have.
Here is the requirement: Each organization shall be entitled to five representatives for the first fifty members and one additional representative for each additional fifty members to a maximum of ten representatives.
Can you help me please?
You are unclear on how many are allowed for organizations with fewer than 50 members - If there are 10 members, does that organization still get 5? And do they get 6 when they reach 51 members, or when they reach 100 members?
And, if the number of members is in, say, cell D2, then try this - I have assumed 5 for the first fifty, then an additional rep (for a total of six) when they hit 100:
=MIN(10,MAX(5,INT(D2/50)+4))
