Conditional Formatting based on different cell

    Good afternoon,

I am trying to determine how to conditionally format a column of cells that will already show red when overdue. However, I want it to turn green once data is inputted to column G.

I have attached the document for ease of use. So say E3 shows red because they have been enrolled for 183 days, they tested and a score was inputted into G3, so i would like E3 to show green now (that any number/percentage has been added) and override the other conditional formatting. Thank you for the assistance.

You can probably use something like this:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Afternoon,

When applying that conditional format formula, it does not do anything. Does D3 need to actually be in there? I am not super great with conditional formatting except doing the based cell value amounts. Currently, the formatting will turn The E Column cells red when they hit day 46. Does the $G3="" mean that there could be anything inside that cell to act as part of the formula?

Select all of the column that you want to format, from row 3 down. Then apply the CF formula and format as required.

No, it doesn't. But, without it, you might format cells that have no data.

After applying that CF it still did not work, even if having it set to the top and stop if true under the rule section.

I thought 183 was the limit. Change that to whatever the overdue calculation is.

The CF formula should be =AND ( E3>= overdue limit, G3 = blank ). So, when you enter anything into G3, the AND condition can no longer be TRUE.
