Formating a range of negative occurrences to $0.00

Hi All, does anyone have an idea as to how I can format all Dollar occurrences in a spreadsheet to Zero and show a dollar sign?
For example B3 =$-45,000.00 Will end up showing as $0.00. I am looking for a formular or macro that I can use to edit a given range in a spreadsheet and change any digits below zero to $ 0.00.

    Thanks in advance.

    Try this

    =if(B3<0,0,B3)
