Arrow Macro or Formula to delete empty cells in a column of data

I have a list of data with many spaces inbetween each series of data (due to an auto-placing program). Is there a way I can have the formula or macro analyze the data in the column and return the new list without spaces (wether on a new sheet or column)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to be more specific. Where are the empty cells? Are they randomly placed, or are they whole rows/columns?

The empty cells are placed randomly throughout the data. There is no consistency. I would like for it to look just in one column at a time. I also know that all the data will be in a particular location, so if I could analyze just a certain number of cells and rows, that would be ideal.
