How can I use replace(alt+H) for mutiple items needing replace

    Instead of selecting a single cell, select a range of cells and THEN select
    Ctrl-H.

    How can I use replace(alt+H) for mutiple items needing replace

    I want to replace some chars. with some values....
    Fo example I want to replace a,b,c,d,e with 1,2,3,4,5 and I don't know how
    to do it!!!
    I am tired of using "alt+h" for each cell I need a replacement
