Open the camera on my tablet with excel and save picture in excel

I have recently created a spreadsheet that I will be using on a daily basis with my job. I plan to run the spreadsheet using a tablet that runs windows 8 and this a full office suite. My question is this: I want to be able to use a form control button to activate the camera on my tablet and take a picture associated with a set if data, once the picture is take , it will be stored either in the excel workbook, or in a SQL database that is tied to my excel sheet.

It seems reasonable to think Excel can be programmed to do this. However, I do not know. Can someone tell me if the is A) Possible and B) Where I can get started as far as the method/code etc.

I would like to know if you were able to resolve this issue. I have recently purchased a tablet for work and would like to launch the camera app from within Excel and save the image within a given spreadsheet. The alternative is taking a picture and navigating to where it is stored from within excel and inserting. I would certainly like to avoid this cumbersome task if possible.

I too would like a VBA userform to prompt user to take a photo. The photo would then be displayed on the userform, renamed, and saved to a folder specified by other fields on the form. But I don't know how to start to operate the camera from within Excel VBA. I would really appreciate any ideas.
