Question Which Tablet & Pen is best for Excel?

    Hi

I had a Wacom Bamboo Tablet for a couple of years and used its pen instead of a mouse for all my spreadsheet and word documents. It went faulty and had to be returned to Germany. When it came back, it worked for a while then packed up. I did without for a while, but much preferred the pen for excel, so bought another one, which worked for a while too, then started highlighting cells and moving them and all sorts of crazy things, so I put it away for good.

However, I still miss it, but don't want another Wacom. Has anyone used the

'Trust Flex Ultra-Thin Design 6 x 4.6 inch Tablet with Ergonomic Wireless Pen'

for spreadsheets, or is it purely for graphics and drawing?

Or any other suggestions for a good, reliable pen to replace my mouse?

    Joe

I have had good luck with field use of a Motion J3500 and Excel 2010. However, it may fall under your Wacom type pens....not sure. Very good field computer though. I beat the heck out of mine and it has worked flawlessly, and can view the screen in direct sunlight.

FYI - Motion Computing is an Austin, TX based company.
