Personally Identifying information in Excel Sheet

By right clicking on my excel file, I see that it has my name as the author.
I would like to leave this blank. How do I do this? Also, are there any other
parts of the file in which my real name may be located and how can I make
    them blank as well?

Also, am I right in assuming that if I send this file to someone else to
use, the workbook must be SHARED in order for them to enter data into the
    sheet?

Will removing my name and making it blank have any effect on the
functionality or usability of the sheet? If yes, how do I remedy this? Thanks
    in advance.

Tool | Options and open the General tab; near the bottom is the field for
    user's name
Removing this will affect newly created documents.
File | Properties will display name of user who created workbook. Can be
deleted. This has no other effect on the file.

If I emailed you a workbook, you could make any changes you wishes and
return it to me. Sharing has to do with a file on a network that more than
one person can open at the same time.

    best wishes
