Summary Sheet in order by date

I have multiple tabs (eg. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc). I would like the data that I enter into the summary sheet (1) to generate in the order in which it was entered into the other tabs.

For example. If I enter data like this: (remember my summary sheet is #1)
Sheet 2 - column 1 on 9/1/06
Sheet 2 - column 6 on 9/20/06
Sheet 3 - column 1 on 8/17/06
Sheet 4 - column 3 on 5/27/06

I want the column to appear on the summary sheet in order by date. So-
Sheet 4 - column 3 on 5/27/06
Sheet 3 - column 1 on 8/17/06
Sheet 2 - column 1 on 9/1/06
Sheet 2 - column 6 on 9/20/06

Is there a function that can help me do this? I am trying to assign each "data column" a number.
