How do I add text at the beginning of each cell?

this may be a silly question but .... I have a column of web addresses formatted as example.com. I need to format them as http://www.example.com. I tried find replace using wildcard * but that actually replaced "example" with an asterisk. There is probably a very easy way to do this; can anyone help me?

    Hi,

Yes you can use concatenation ... i.e

    =A1&B1

or in your case, if your data is located in cell A1
