How to reference cells in Next/Prev Sheets automatically?

I'm new to Excel. We use it at the gas station I work at and I've been using my promotion as an opportunity to learn Excel finally. Customers have been very helpful to date and I've made some progress.

While looking over our daily logs, I've noticed I waste a few minutes every day referencing cells in other sheets. Equals. Change sheets. Click cell. Enter. Drag cell contents over multiple cells. Equals. Change sheets. Click cell. Enter. Drag cell contents over multiple cells.

The way we've been doing new sheets is we click on the "master" sheet and make a copy before the previous day's sheet (so sheets progress right to left if you start from December 1st and go on through the days). So certain cells are referencing cells in the "next sheet." Is there a way I can set up Excel to automatically set the functions of the cells to the corresponding cell contents of the "next sheet" in the workbook? Or even a better way of setting up the daily log would be helpful.

    Thank you.
