Referencing cells in conditional formatting

Hi guys,

Test file

In the test file above I'm trying to do a conditional formatting of a cell depending on the column/row values entered in the green columns. I only succeeded doing so for one entry, but I need to make it work for several values (theoretical max. = 150), so several cells should 'light up'.

Could somebody help? Or has someone a different approach?

Hi,

if you type =Column(I1) in a cell, or type =Column() in cell I1
then type =Row() in I1 your error will become apparent.

I've got no idea what you're trying to point out...

There is no error in the test file. For column/row 1-3 it works perfectly (column 1, row 3 lights up). I need to find a different approach to make this conditional formatting work with several column/row inputs, in this case column/row 5-7 (E7) should light up as well...
