Convert decimal number to time format

    Hi all
I have a column of time formatted as General which displays as 10.5 meaning 10 hours and 50 minutes. I would like to convert it to a time format (hh:mm) so I can use it in a calculation. I tried =TEXT(D8/24,"hh:mm") but this returns 10:30 not 10:50 which is the time I am looking for.
Is there anyway to do this?

    Regards

I don't know if i'm doing something wrong with your formula, but I couldn't get it to work.
I came up with this formula although it does seem a bit longwinded. Maybe someone here could refine it.

    Thanks for the replies

Thanks for the replies Jasoncw and Ishooter3k. The second code works but the first doesn't return the result I expected, possibly listed the code wrong initially. However, all is working well now, thanks for the help.
