    Totaling Revenue based on Source

    I have a drop down menu in d19:d30 with three options: TU, Local and Class. In E19:e30 I have revenue amounts. Not all rows may be used. In C35 I would like to have the total of revenue that came from Class. In d36 the total from Local and in D37 the total from TU. I am assuming I need an IF statement, but I'm not well versed in those. Any help is appreciated.

    Could you please post a sample of what you are trying to do?

    Example

    I've attached a PDF...I filled in the blanks for examples of the source and amounts...unfortunately on the PDF the totals appear on the second page.

    Solved...I think

    I surprised myself and I think I have it:=sumif(d21:d35,"Class",e21:e35)
