Financial Functions Price Yield, Etc...
I am having some trouble with installing the Excel Financial Functions.
I want to use functions such as Price, Yield, Duration, etc... and have Excel 2003
When looking at the Excel Help files - it says to ensure that the Analysis Toolpak add-in is installed. I went through the appropriate steps to install it (checked on Analysis Toolpak and Analysis Toolpak VBA) and hit OK.
It said it installed, but when I try to use thses functions, it still doesn't work. First off, Excel doesn't alert me to the function inputs when I type "=price(" whereas if I type "=sum(" I see that I am supposed to put number 1, [number 2], etc...
I have tried to go to Insert -> Function and use the prompts in that screen. But, the cell simply says "N/A" once I execute.
Please please help if you have any ideas why I can't get this to work. I have tried it on 3 separate computers, and they all do the exact same thing. Thank you,
Did you check dialog boxes of them from Tools/Add ins/ Add ins dialog box?
I guess I don't know what you mean by "dialog box" but if I go to Tools, Add-ins, I can see that the Analysis ToolPak boxes are checked.

Thanks for the reply.
