    Disregard empty cells?

How do I get Excel to disregard a cell if it's empty?

I'm trying to create a form that can be filled in later, and certain columns may never be filled in, but it generates error messages and won't show the final calculation unless all columns are filled in. How do I get it to disregard those?

Maybe using a if statement or conditional Formatting
