counting cells with conditional formating

Hi,

Can anyone provide some assistiance the the countif formula and conditional formating? My worksheet area is A1 thru K21. Each row has cells col C thru Col H being affected by conditional formating (ex. C5 thru H5). I need to count how many rows have col C thru Col H conditionally formated to the color green and place this total in a seperate cell on the work sheet. I've tried a few things based on help file searches but non have been fruitful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know how to do a count based on colors (I think it is possible using a VBA/Macro).

Since the cells are being colored based on a conditional format, couldnt you just manipulate the formula being used in the conditional format to give you a total.

For example, if you have the cells colored green IF they are greater than 100, you can set up a formula that will count all cells greater than 100.
