    !!??Using a formula to change the colour of font!!??

    I have been trying for days to change the colour of font in a cell to red from black when the number in the cell goes above a set number for example when a number equals or goes above 12,000 it should change colour to red. But i can not work out a formula to work this.

    The formula i tryied was:

    =if((e15)>=12000,[red],(e15))
    and i also tried
    =if((e15)>=12000,"Due Overhaul",(e15))

    But all i recieved was an error message for both!!

    Any idea on how i can make it work????

    Hi,

    You can do this without formulas. Go to Format > Conditional Format
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1
