If this is addressed somewhere else I appologize. What I need to do is a simple sort based on the numeric value of a cell. Each item has three rows. a heading row with names, a value row with values under the names and last a blank for seperation.
USA tim bill sam total
55 43 50 138
---------blank row --------------
Canada ...

I would like to sort the sheet on the numeric total cell in the second row and keep the row above and below in the same location relative to the numeric row. There are, of course several other tripled rows for other countries.

I can make it work by adding the total to a cell of each of the three rows and hiding it and also putting the "USA" in a hidden cell and sorting it as a secondary cell.

There must be a better way.
