    Copying formula to new cell

Okay, I have made teh formula =D7*B7 in cell E7, Now I want to copy the formula for all the entire E column to have the same basis. The problem is, as I go to the next row, for example cell E8, D7 and B7 will not apply. I want it so that it automatically changes the formula pertaining to the row it is on, so that if its on E8, it will automatically make the forumla =D8*B8. Also, will do it for remainder of the E column.

Hope you all understand what I am trying to say, please give details instructions. Could not find thsi in help, or probablay did not know correct terminology to search for.

    Thanks in advance.

When you copy a formula from one cell to another cell Excel automatically does what you want unless it has a $ symbol in front of the row number

how do I make it do what I want. As mentioned above, I want it to change the formula based off of row number, all automatically without me changing it individually.
