    Holding RANDBETWEEN() values

    I am using the RANDBETWEEN() function to generate a series of random numbers that i then use to perform other calculations. My problem is that any time i change any cell the numbers get regenerated and i loose the old values. As a work around i would copy the numbers and then paste the values only. That is a bit annoying though. Is there another solution?
    Thank's

    Hi,

    easy way would be to put the Rand into a helper column, then Record a macro that does the Copy - Paste Special = Values

    Hide the helper column and use the Paste'd column.

    Reset your values by running the macro, best done via a Shortcut Key (edit macro options to set a key)
