Is there a relatively easy way to get Excel to pull a dynamic numerical value from a website upon opening a given file? I would want it to function in essentially the same way that the built-in stock grabber works.

Hi,
You can do this with a web query.
Go to Data > Import External Data > New Web Query
then follow the wizard through.
Rule 1: Never merge cells
Rule 2: See rule 1
