DATEDIF function not working for YD in EXCEL2007?

    =DATEDIF(A18,$A$25,"YD")

Using the above formula if I enter the 15th July 1991 into cell a18 and the 25th June 2007 in cell a25 the formula returns the answer 189.

This is not the correct answer it should I think be 345.

I have used this formula many times and it has always worked and whilst it still does for most dates it now does not work with others. I have recently updated to excel 2007.

Is there a problem with this function in 2007?

If you format A18 to number, you should have 33434 and similarly with A25 that should be 39258.

    A25-A18 = 346

Designed flaw in XL-2007. Use older version instead. The correct answere should be 346

    A25-A18 = 346
    A25-A18 = 346 (WRONG)

    Hi Teethless mama,

I was using 2003, I just assumed 2007 would be the same - I've learnt something, don't assume anything!

I tried this for myself, seems weird, what's the deal, O Toothless One? Is this documented anywhere?
