Hello,
I received an answer on my last question within minutes and it has helped me a lot. I also searched these boards for another question and found that answer as well, however this next one is very complicated so any help or suggestions would really save my day.
I have a workbook with 4 sheets.
My first sheet has all my data
(Product) (Date) (Code) (Description) (Scrap type1) (Scrap type2) (Total Combined Scrap)
My second sheet has my lookup table for my Code and Description
My third sheet is a mirror copy of my first but it has been filtered
My problem is I have another workbook that is a standard form that has to be filled out weekly (weekly scrap report). However I already am storing data daily (daily scrap report) and do not see the sense in putting in the same figures once a week that I have been tallying up every day. I have already copied the standard from over and made it my fourth sheet and would like to be able to reference the data needed off of my first sheet.
I would like to enter in the two dates creating a week in two separate text boxes on my fourth sheet that I may continuously change as each week passes IE:
Start Date = 6/25/2007
End Date =6/29/2007
Once I enter in the dates I would like to have excel copy the values of that week (or any number of days I choose) over to my fourth sheet from my first sheet.
I would also like to have excel sum this as well once it transfers it over to the sheet (I might need to make another sheet for this first after I know how to get it to look for my Date range before it transfers it to my fourth sheet/standard form)
IE:
Product1 6-25-2007 B2 Dent 100pcs 200pcs 300pcs
Product1 6-26-2007 B3 Hole 50pcs 120pcs 170pcs
Product1 6-27-2007 B0 Burr 500pcs 25pcs 525pcs
Product2 6-25-2007 B4 Dent 100pcs 100pcs 200pcs
= Product1 995pcs
= Product2 200pcs
I know this is a lot to ask for and if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to leave them.
Thanks in advance,
Dregun
