    Exclamation number to auto-generate

Hey! I am new at working with formulas within Excel. I am attaching a workbook that I need help setting up to do what I need. As you can see, starting with the July 2007 sheet, I am setting up a way to track my progress on completing quotes. When I type in a customer's name, I want a number to auto-generate under QUOTE NUMBER (example: 707001,707002,etc...) Next, when I enter a date under DATE RECEIVED, I want it to start counting days in the cell under DAYS IN PROGRESS. Now, when the number of days in progress exceeds 7 days but less than 14 I want the row to be yellow. Then, when the number of days in progress exceeds 14, I want the row to be red. Last, when I enter a date under date completed, I want the entire row to be strikethrough.

Ok, this will be the last thing.....Under the August 2007 sheet, I want the same as above except I need the quote numbers to be like 807001,807002,etc...

    Thanks!

    see attached example, for solution.

I have based the Quote number on the Page name (July 2007, August 2007), be careful with the naming of the worbook pages, as this will cause errors if the pages are mis-spelt or not in the same format (MMMM YYYY).
