converting "strange" date format to standard date format

    Hi there,

I need some help with a formula converting a non-standard date format to a standard date format.

I have a massive spreadsheet where the dates are in the following format:

"50,725" is 25 July 2005 - I can remove all the commas but I still need some help getting the entries converted.

    PLEASE HELP!

    Thnks

    GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT!!!!!!

    THANKS!

    BUT...it almost works....

I have to press F2 and then enter in A1 for the calculation to work - is there a way to get around this? I have 150,000+ cells!?

    PLEASE help.

    Thnks
