    How do I change part of a formula linked to another workbook?

    I have copied the following formula from Column C to Column F:
    ='[ALL GOLFERS.xls]Anderson, C'!$L$34
    I have 25 rows each with a different golfer's name in the formula
    Is there an easy way to change ONLY the "L" to "M" in that formula for 25 rows?

    Edit->Replace

    Find what? "$L"
    Replace with? "$M"

    Does that help, or is there more to it?

    Thank you MrShorty. Your reply solved my problem. I hadn't linked workbooks or sheets before. No one replied to my post a couple of days ago but maybe I didn't make myself clear. Could you look at that one too? Thanks again.
