Complex formula request... or so it seems!

    Hi everyone,

I'm new here, but I'm trying to put together a somewhat complex formula and I'm just not able to figure it out on my own.

OK, this is the deal. I have final sheet labelled 'TOTALS' that is obviously calculating various totals for the entire book.

On one sheet, I have a column labelled with percentages, there are only 3 values available, 50%, 75% & 99%. In another column on the same sheet I have revenue totals if each deal goes through.

I've been asked to have the possible revenues totaled on the FINAL TOTAL sheet according to percentages. I hope this makes sense.

Is there a way I can have the revenue cell in the same row automatically labelled by what percentage it's given in the other column so it can be totalled on the FINAL TOTALS page, according to percentage value?

I've been reading all the formula pages I can, but my head is swimming and I'm not sure exactly what kind of formula I'm even looking for or if I need to arrange for the revenue cell to be automatically labelled by percentage or WHAT.

    Please help. Thanks!

It's OK, I figured out I need to use the SUMIF function

But thanks anyway, I think it helped to write out exactly what I was trying to do!
