    Faulty refresh on Pivots

    Hi all,
I have a problem with a pivot table. When the pivot is refreshed either manually or automatically, it changes the order of the Y axis. For example, if I have Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr on the Y axis, after a refresh Mar will appear after Apr. Once I hit refresh again, it jumps back in order. This process continues every time I hit refresh.

    Any hints would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi Shoeey,

    That sounds frustrating!
Is it a pivot table or a pivot chart (I've never had a chance to use these)?

I haven't seen things change order before but the below links of Debra's may help (or the other PT links that are listed).

I'm sorry I can't really help without seeing the file. Can you zip & upload it?
Here are some questions which may offer enough direction to help you solve it yourself:
Is "Mar" correctly spelt ie no extra spaces or invisible characters?
Are "Mar" & the other months text cells or dates formatted to just show "mmm"?
Does right clicking on the cell allow you to change the "order"?
Does right clicking on the cell, "field settings", choosing "advanced" & then changing the auto sort options help?
