Want to convert time into minutes.
I have a file in which i enter the time in the following way.
1) 8:04 - the answer in minutes would be calculated in this way
the number prefixing ":" i.e 8 * 60 + 4 = 480 + 4
2) 10:52 - 10 * 6 + 52 = 600 + 52 = 652
can u please help me with a formula which can give me the answer after i n enter the duration in time format.
You can simply use formula: =A1*1440 where A1 has your time.

Another way would be to custom format the input cell as [m]. When you input 8:04 cell will display minutes, i.e. 484
