    Transposing Frequency data

    Help!

I've been trawling the interent to find a formula that will transpose frequency data into actual data points, but I've failed utterly! My data is laid out as such:

    A B
Size (cm) Frequency (Amount of individuals in that category)

    1 1
    2 33
    3 14
    4 2
    5 1

I would like to be able to transpose column B, so that I end up with a vertical column of cells with 1 cell of 1, 33 cells of 2, 14 cells of 3 and 2 cells of 4 etc. Thus turning the frequency data, into actual data points. This would kind of be like a reverse of the FREQUENCY formula, that allows you to generate frequencies from a data set / list of cells. Seems logical and easy in my head, but I just can't find a formula to do it!

    Cheers!

    Try this:
Assuming your data is in Columns A & B, rows 1 thru 5, and with the output starting in column A, row 7.
