    Concatenate with Formatting

    Hi,

    I want to concatenate a statement with a $ figure in it.

    eg. =concatenate("for the sum of ",A6," on....etc")

    I want this value to be frmatted as it appears in the cellit is coming from

    ie. $ 19,107.20, not 19107.2

    is this possible

    Thanks

    Maybe

    ="for the sum of "&DOLLAR(A6)&" on....etc"
    or

    ="for the sum of "&TEXT(A6,"$0.00")&"""on.etc"
