Start Date, End Date=#of days not working

    Hi,
I am trying to get a count of days. I have a start date in one cloumn, a finish date in a second column, and am trying to get the next column to show the total days elapsed. I tried =360days(A:A,B:B) and =A:A-B:B pasted in the third column with no sucess. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for any advice in advance!

Start Date in column A, End Date in column B, then in C1

    =B1-A1 format to General

If your trying to get the difference for one row at a time...then try just

=B1-A1 where A1 is start date adn B1 is end date... then you can copy this formula down the column to do the math for other dates in the column A and B
Where there is a will there are many ways.
