    I need Vlookup help ASAP!

Ok, I have a project requiring me to use Vlookup based on two criteria. I have to use a Vlookup function for full credit. We need to determine wages from the type of worker and their respective city. The first column represents the types of workers. The values under the cities represent wages. I need to look up type of worker and the city to obtain the correct pay rate.

    Buffalo Rochester Philly Washington
    1 5 4 3 7
    2 6 4 5 2
    3 4 6 9 8

    Thanks

Edit: The table compacts when I create the thread I don't know why, sorry. But any help would be great

I suggest you first prepare the workbook as best you can, then zip and attach a copy so someone can point you in the right direction. If you read through your class notes and search Excel help for VLOOKUP you should get some pointers to start with.

If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:
