    formulas transferring dates

    Hi,
I am attempting something over my head and need your help.
    I basically have 2 worksheets.

The 1st is a list of tasks and the date each task should be completed.

The 2nd is a dated daily calender.

I am trying to get a formula which basically gives me a 'things to do list' each day in the calender sheet.

Can anyone advise on the very basics of what formula to input into the calender so it reads the task list on each day and looks what need to be done on that day.

(Im starting simple, ive more to ask shortly!)

Let me know if there anything else you require.

    Thanks
    Lee

Maybe simply using the AUtoFilter option on your list will be the easiest way
    Data -Filter - Autofilter
Choose tre dropdwon box in the dates column
    Select Custom
In the first text box select " is greater than" and in the second today's date
You will then have a list of all the to-do tasks

Thanks for the response, altough what im trying to do is keep specific taks to specific dates.

Ive had a quick read round and it seems better to post the file showing what im trying to achieve.

I have filled out an example of what im trying to get in green on the second tab. This is based on the information on the 1st tab of that date.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks
