    Aging Formula

    Hi:
I work in a property mgmt company where we send three types of letters to delinquent folks.

10th of the months- grace period ends
11th of the months- Send M1 letters
11th of the second month- Send M2 letters
21st of the second moth- Send M3 letters

In attached spread sheet I have exported the AR report from the software. I ran the AR report as of Jan11 and Feb11. What I want to do is find an formula that I can plug in column G which will put "2" if an unit number in column F is found on column A. If not, then it will put "1" in column G next to each unit number. Any idea or help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi

    G2: =IF(COUNTIF($A$3:$A$55,F3),2,1)

Adjust the ranges and copy down as required.
