How to Set TabKey to Jump Across Columns

In Excel 2003, when I hit the tab key, it moves across the worksheet one column at a time. How do I reset it so I can jump across 5 or 10 or however many columns I want?

You could lock the intervening columns and protect the worksheet, or write code to do it. There's no way from the user interface.

You may have to unlock the columns you want to tab to, then protect the sheet, you will then be able to tab to the next unlocked column
