Question Splitting Cell Data + Formula

I want to find out if there is a formula that will take 2 numbers from one cell and be able to make it work into separate cells.

On my spreadsheet, row 14 column H [perimeter] with the number being split, which might not always be even, can I take the first number and make a formula to go into column J [paint] and then the second number to make a formula to go into column I [wc]

If you need any other information, please let me know.

Also, I am just a basic user of excel using it daily for entering data using basic multiplication operations.

    Not sure I understand

The perameter is 2 times the length + 2 times the width, Where did you get 20 / 20. But this will show you how to break it apart.

The 20 / 20 is from the number 40 which is Length + Width times 2. I manually put that number in as I wasn't sure there was a formula I could use.

I guess that is another question, is there a formula to split the perimeter?

Also, when I input your formula into my cells, I get this error #VALUE! Am I doing something wrong.

Thank you so much for your time.

Thank you for all your help, the new formula you gave me for automatically splitting the cells works, it's still the original one taking that data and putting it in the separate cells that gives me the error.

Thank you so much for all your help, still not sure why I'm getting an error but I'm going to try to work on a bit now that I at least have a formula.
